Inside the workshop, a handpan comes to life
Where metal becomes music
At Pan Ritual, every handpan is handcrafted, far from industrial production lines.
The metal is carefully shaped, the notes are sculpted and then precisely tuned until a lasting harmonic balance is achieved.
A slow, demanding process that brings a living instrument to life — designed to accompany you for years to come.

The material takes shape
It all begins in our workshop. The steel shells are carefully selected and then shaped by hand. The metal is worked with precision to create the instrument’s vibrational foundation.

Shaping the notes
Each note is sculpted and then tuned with extreme precision. The artisan adjusts the fundamental tone and the harmonics until a stable, deep balance is achieved. The ear guides every movement.

Testing, validation, and preparation
Before leaving the workshop, each handpan is played again, inspected, and approved.
We check the tuning stability, overall resonance, and finish.
Then, the instrument is carefully protected for its journey to you.
